Research: AI for Social Well-being

Algorithms that Improve Citizens' Quality of Life

  • Research into AI applied to social well-being is DanskAudit's innovative core. We don't seek efficiency just for savings, but for the ability to reinvest that value into citizens' quality of life. Our models are designed to identify social vulnerabilities and health needs before they become crises, allowing the state to act proactively and humanely.

Technically, we use neural networks to analyze social health determinants and well-being patterns in large volumes of anonymized data. We have developed validation protocols ensuring the model is not only accurate but also capable of explaining its predictions to social and health professionals. DanskAudit research focuses on 'Critical Assistance AI', where the machine acts as a preventive radar for the human expert.

All our research is governed by the Nordic Charter for Digital Ethics. This means every algorithmic experiment goes through a state ethics committee and is subjected to extremely rigorous data protection impact assessments (DPIA). Legality in research is what guarantees the resulting solutions can be safely integrated into the Danish public ecosystem respecting individual dignity.

Results from our pilot projects in smart home care have shown a 20% improvement in early detection of health risks for senior citizens. AI allows for much more personalized and timely care, reducing pressure on hospitals and allowing citizens to live independently longer. Technology is, in this context, a social balm of enormous power.

"AI is a scientific tool to strengthen, not replace, human judgment in the nation's welfare."

DanskAudit will continue investing in cutting-edge research so Denmark can be a world exporter of 'AI for Well-being'. Our vision is a State that cares in an intelligent and compassionate way using data science to protect the most vulnerable. Research doesn't stop; it's the engine that allows us to evolve as a society towards a future where technology is synonymous with care.
